A null Hypothesis is defined as a statistical theory that states that there is no relation between two sets of observations.

Example 1:

When a sparrow is given two choices of food which are different in shape, then the selection of food by the sparrow is independent of the shape.

Two persons of age 10 and 40 are learning guitar. Their learning ability is independent of their age.

Two plants are given different types of water. There is no relation between the difference in the growth of two plants and the type of water used.

Hair fall can be controlled by bed rest. Bed rest and relief from hair loss are two different entities and independent of each other.

Women are more interested in exercise than men. To be interested in exercise is not related to gender.
