The first thing you have to do is find a PhD program in your subject or on the topic you are interested in.

Now, you have to select which type of PhD or doctorate you wish to pursue— For example, full-time or part-time, or online or offline.

Collect requirements for your application, as per the need of the university— For example, previous degree and transfer certificates, IELTS, TOEFL, etc.

Find a PhD guide from the University. Contact them, show your project and try to convince them to become your guide.
