Hey, is your research project rejected? Go through this checklist once before submitting it for PhD, fellowship or financial aid.

Use academic writing style, and correct grammatical, spelling and other language errors before submitting.

Language

Design a project title that answers a specific research question and can be investigated by research.

Project title

Give a brief background of the problem and review some literature here. It should be 2 to 3 pages long.

Background of the problem

Discuss the research problem comprehensively and enlist your objectives that can answer it.

Research problem

Must discuss the scope of the research for the present knowledge and how the research can solve “some” problems.

Scope

Explain the method using which you will solve the present problem. You can also include theories and hypotheses that you would be going to test.

Methodology 

Do not forget to discuss the future of your research, how it would be helpful to other scientists and what possible outcomes the future research will get.

Future research 

Include a well-planned research schedule in the project.

Research plan

Discuss the estimated budget of your project. Include consumables, contingency, instrumental and other charges. Include the budget for 3 years of your research.

Budget 

Prepare a well-structured project including abstract, background, literature review, methodology, scopes, possible outcomes, budget and sources.
