The life of a research scholar is indeed difficult. One has to be regular and disciplined with their daily routine for achieving excellent results in the long run.

Here is an ideal daily routine of a PhD student and every research scholar should follow it.

Wake up between 6.30 to 7 am every morning.. Have a big smile and immediately get out of bed.

7 to 7.45- Yoga and meditation. This will help you to remain fresh and fight against depression and tension.

7.45 to 8.30 am-Take a shower and do all other essentials including makeup and grooming.

8.30 to 9 am- Take your breakfast, coffee and quickly go through important news. Don’t waste more time.

9.45 to 10 am- Reach the university. Spend some time with your colleagues. Enlist goals and plan for the day. Try reading literature related to your research.

10.30 am- Start your research work including wet and dry lab work, reading and writing.

5 pm- Go to the gym and work hard. This makes you physically strong and boosts your confidence. After all, health is also important.

6 to 7.30 pm- Take a shower, and read your research. Thoroughly go through what you have done in a day.

7.30 to 9 pm- Take dinner, chill, and entertain yourself. This will boost your mood.

9 to 10.30 pm. Again do some research, read new articles, analyze your daily goal and do a self-assessment. Go to bed at 10.30.
