Here are some of the criteria for a strong research question.

Firstly, the research question must be answerable by literature and research.

A strong research question focuses only on a single problem or limitation of knowledge.

Focus

It’s important that the research question must be relevant to your topic, subject or field.

Relevant

The important characteristic of a strong research question is specificity. It must be specific to a topic or query.

Specific

The research question must be practical or feasible enough to answer within a given time frame.

Practical

It must be a bit complex to obtain a strong answer which challenges the recent knowledge.

Not too simple
